I Hear You
I’m at home, standing in the cupboard.
A thought comes through:
“Lease a space in the city.
And sub-lease it out”.
I don’t know why…
like for co-working, or something??
But
“sublet out a place to a creative. Her”
This thought doesn’t feel like my thought.
….
A few days later I saw a post on Facebook.
She, you, were thinking about leasing a space in the city to run events.
It happened a few times.
I hear you.
You hear me.
When I asked “Why”
Why am I hearing your thoughts?
I got back one word,
longing.
It was like you wanted me to hear them.
Years later, I shared it with someone who knew us both.
“I remember having that conversation with her!”, they gasped.
“She was going to live there!”
But for me,
it was when I first heard you use the word longing.

After a lot of meditation it becomes possible to delineate thoughts that come from inside you and outside you. It is mind internally and mind externally, respectively.
